Roberson has a long and varied history as a important supplier to many of the UK's most famous artists. Established in London by Charles Roberson in 1810, the company stayed in the Covent Garden area until 1937 when the business moved to North London. In 2019 Roberson moved to its present location in White City, West London, where it continues to manufacture its historic range of traditional artists’ materials, alongside more contemporary products such as Liquid Metal paints, Treasure Gold & Liquid Leaf.
In 2020 Roberson launched its newest product, the Solid Metal range. Highly pigmented paint sticks in bright metallic shades.
